Legal information site experiences record traffic in Q1 2009
New York, NY - June 15, 2009 - Individuals and small business owners seeking to hire legal counsel use resources from Lawyers.comSM more than any other legal website, according to analysis of new comScore Media Metrix data*. Lawyers.com from LexisNexis® achieved record-setting site visitation during the first three months of 2009, representing a 20 percent increase over the same period last year.
The comScore Media Metrix data compared traffic patterns at competing, consumer-oriented attorney websites in the first quarter of 2009. In particular, the analysis revealed more combined unique visitors to Lawyers.com than competing sites when seeking a lawyer.
According to the data, Lawyers.com
- Viewed a total of more than five million pages on average each month - 61 percent more than the next most popular online resource for finding attorneys.
- Viewed on average five pages per visit compared to only three pages viewed per visit at the next most popular online resource for finding attorneys.
- Spent a total of more than four million monthly minutes on the site on average compared to only two million monthly minutes on average on the next most popular online resource for finding attorneys.
- Visited the site on average about 22 percent more often than the next most popular online resource for finding attorneys.
